Evergreen Cemetery History Committee the
goal of this committee is to enlist the help of those that love history and research to gather stories that will then be placed
on "Story Boards" much like historical marker throughout the cemetery.
Story
Boards these boards will be placed in various areas of the cemetery to educate and amuse
visitors. The signs will change monthly with new stores of people and organizations. Our goal is to have 10 out on the grounds
each month. Right now they are in the planning stage for construction.
Adopt a Block
training - this will start in the Spring. We are looking for those that don't mind doing a little work and
taking responsibility for a section in Evergreen. Training is vital so harmful things don't happen to sections or volunteers.
A memorandum of understanding for the Evergreen Cemetery Benevolent Society and Evergreen Cemetery must be signed before a
section can be adopted.
