Fewer and fewer cemeteries in this country allow the vast number and size of monuments as Evergreen Cemetery. Weather,
vandals, age, and neglect have taken a toll on these visible records of the past.
We need volunteers and sponsors to help us with our work. All projects cost money!

We need funding to continue our hard work in Evergreen Cemetery. If
you support something, please donate to it! The Evergreen Cemetery Benevolent Society needs your help. All funds go toward
stone repair and other projects within the cemetery boundary that the cemetery management cannot place existing funds towards
because of laws outlined by the city of Colorado Springs. We, as a Benevolent Society, are seeking individuals to donate
any funds or time towards a very rewarding endeavor. We receive no grant funding or pay. Grant funding in this economy is
extremely competitive and hard to acheive. Instead we provide educational presentations, historically based events, and solicit
no strings attached donations to reach our goals. No members receive any pay or are employees of the city cemeteries. We work very hard for what we get and put almost 300 hours of volunteer time for work projects in 2010. We donate not only
our time but funds also. Please consider helping us. Thank you!
