Wanted!
Venture Crew 1861 of Boy Scouts of America is looking for able bodied youth (male and female) to participate in
recreating history – in particular the War Between the States, an American struggle that resulted in the United States
of America. We are locally organized and perform many events around town, the state, and out of state. Do you like history?
Would you like to learn how to be a Union or Confederate soldier or Victorian lady? Do you have the time to devote to this
interesting and exciting program? If the answer is YES, then contact Bob Johnson, 278.4921 or for computer types: navybobj@comcast.net
The
crew is well versed in Civil War drill, camping, marching, battling and more. We are looking for 14-20 year old males or females
with the interest and desire to be different by preserving the past for the future. We have fun and do a great public service
by educating crowds wherever we set up camp. Come out and see us or drop by one of our monthly meetings. You are always welcomed!
